2015 Capital Campaign Update

TopViews are a special type of in-feed ad: they are guaranteed to be the first in-feed ad that users see after three seconds. They also show up at the top of the For You page and can support up to 60 seconds of full-screen video.

Branded Hashtag Challenges

Branded hashtag challenges are useful because they build brand awareness largely through user-generated content (UGC).

These challenges appear on TikTok’s Discover page. When users click on one of the hashtags, they’re directed to a branded landing page that provides information about the challenge, the brand’s website link, and UGC from TikTokers who have already participated, see more at this site.

Branded hashtag challenges are particularly effective because, well, they’re fun. Unlike in-feed ads or brand takeovers, these ads give users an opportunity to be creative and express themselves, which creates a valuable connection between your brand and your audience.

Founders’ Day Weekend 2013

Announcement, courtesy of the undergratudates:
Once again, I’d like to invite you all to Founder’s Day 2013 on Saturday, November 2nd. Below is the detailed schedule, reflecting the 7pm kickoff
8:00 AM – Ramblin’ Wreck parade. If your hobbies include waking up bright and early to watch a themed car drive past you for about 30 seconds on Fowler Street in the cold, then you’ll love this. Come join us and see our lovingly decorated Wreck exceed all competing Wrecks in every measurable way, including aesthetics, working condition, and marsupial housing. Those that do show up to the house early enough to prepare for the parade or support its participants may be provided with donuts and/or refreshments of some kind. It’s the least we could do.
12:00 PM – For those less inclined to brave the aforementioned, we’d love for you to join us at the house at a more reasonable hour for general fraternizing and mingling. Catch up with old friends, meet our newest actives, and perhaps even sign a pledge paddle or two as we celebrate the 43rd anniversary of our founding.
2:00 PM – After everyone has had a chance to arrive and chat, we will be heading up a Foosball Tournament. Feel free to sign up here (this is a single field form to avoid the chaos our GDocs frequently fall into). Guide your tiny athletes to victory as we await the main event of the day…
5:00 PM – Tailgating! Actives will be providing the basic staples of a good tailgate (grilled foods, chips, drinks, etc.), but to be as great a tailgate as it can be, we will need your help! Feel free to bring any dish/platter/dessert you wish to bolster our selection of foods. We had great participation for the UNC tailgate, so let’s see if we can do even better this Founder’s Day.
7:00 PM – Kickoff! We encourage any that can make it to support the Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium, but for those that prefer the broadcast, we will have the game on the TV and/or projector at the house for all to see. Go Jackets!
That’s all for Founder’s Day proper, but the following day (Sunday 11/3), we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Triforce Bowling Tournament. Our annual Triforce Bowling Tournament between the GSU Provisional Chapter, the GT Active Chapter, and PUSOG is fast approaching.  This Sunday, November 3rd, from 2PM to 4PM, the rocks will roll and the pins will drop at the Brunswick Norcross (6345 Spalding Drive, Norcross, GA 30092).  The prices are $25 for undergraduate active members of both chapters and $35 for alumni and non-brothers.  Including bowling, these prices also includes snacks to be served at the event and also possibly awards.   So please come join your brothers and represent your faction at the great Triforce Bowling Tournament.
Hope to see a great turnout next Saturday! If you’d like to voice any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at internalvp@gtpsiu.org

8/25/13: PUSOG Bon Voyage Ross Gathering

On Sunday, August 25th at noon thirty, come join in fellowship and wish former Board of Directors member Brother Ross Meltz a fond farewell as he heads cross country for his next big adventure. We’re having Cuban sandwiches at Havana Restaurant (3979 Buford Hwy) because of everything the Pacific Northwest has, I expect it has fewer Cuban opportunities than Atlanta.
